Commit 40192594 authored by Robert Griesemer's avatar Robert Griesemer

- interpret form feed char as newline + flush

- cleanups:
  - replaced internal byte buffer implementation with io.ByteBuffer (now that we have one)
  - removed all uses of goto statements in favor of structured code
  - converted tests into a table-driven test
